Photographed on 10 January 2009 this view shows the first working on the Great Central Railway of a diesel hauled service to have steam heat provided by a re-patriated ex Irish Railway steam heat generator coach. This coach, No. 3178 is seen behind 'Peak' No. D123. Sadly by about 15.00 the steam generator had failed, and no more heat was provided on what was a bitterly cold day.
