Ausgerichtet wird dieses gigantische Treffen von Bahnfahrzeugen von Alstom. Insgesamt sind mehr als 80 verschiedene Lokomotiven und Triebwagen vor Ort, welche in den letzten Tagen und Wochen zu dieser Feierlichkeit zusammengesammelt wurden. Die Tickets waren innerhalb weniger Stunden vergriffen, insgesamt sind es rund 80.000 Besucher, welche erwartet werden. Die Preise für ein Tagesticket lagen bei 30 GBP für einen Erwachsenen, 15 GBP für Kinder von 5 - 15 Jahren. Ich selbst habe leider kein Glück gehabt, nichtmal als Staff. :-(
